CAPS Meeting

Today the Slate along with members of CC had a great meeting with Meredith Daw and Linda Choi - the coordinators of CAPS. At the meeting we brought up student concerns ranging from lack of opportunity for non-finance jobs, difficulties navigating Interview Trak, and lack of communication between CAPS and students about events and programming. Meredith and Linda were incredibly receptive to our concerns and are in the process of working to fix many of the issues we brought up. We are going to be having a follow up meeting with them in the Spring. If you have any concerns about CAPS feel free to blog here and we will be sure to relay your thoughts. We hope this meeting is a solid first step in making CAPS a stronger resource for students.

  1. I also attended the CAPS meeting as a member of the College Council and as an interested student. I felt that the meeting went very well. Everyone in attendance raised valid concerns and the CAPS co-directors were willing to comply with our general wishes. This was a great meeting that I hope becomes an annual event.
