It looks like this year’s going to have high turnout, the number of visitors has really spiked in the last day.
On April 22nd:
1,244 have visited this blog post (sg.uchicago.edu/blog/2008/04/22/vote-now/index.shtml)
914 have visited the spring statements page (sg.uchicago.edu/elections/spring_statements.shtml)
4,961 visited the main page (sg.uchicago.edu) on the main page compared to the usual 3,200-2,700 visitors the site sees on any given weekday (although there’s usual more visitors at the beginning of the week).
So, using yesterday as an indication, I’d say about 1,300 people have voted so far. If this keeps up over the next 3 days, we’re set to have record breaking turnout with around 3,000 voters.
Edit: I updated these numbers, which changed since the last time I looked at them. I also did some editing for clarity.

Statistics for April 23rd:
812 have visited this post (2,056 since the start of the election.)
457 have visited the candidate statement page (1,371 since the start of the election)
3,933 have visited the main page.
Based on these numbers, I’d estimate we’re still on track to have over 3,000 voters by 5 PM today.

So, when will the results be made online?

Results are online (see the slideshow thingy)
A blog post with the full numbers should come out tonight at around 9:30.
Full breakdown probably in the next week.
