Campus Dining Advisory Board (CDAB)
October 2009 Categorized Under: Committees No Comments
The Campus Dining Advisory Board provides oversight and student response for the quality and structure of the Campus Dining Services administered by Housing and Dining Services. Student surveys and focus groups have helped steer the administration in choosing the dining plan, menu, and layout. Students on the Dining Advisory Board meet monthly with administrators and discuss “big-picture issues.” They provide feedback to the management of the dining venues, consider proposals for changes in services, assist in planning for future changes (brands, prices, selections), and offer feedback about policies and procedures that affect the cost and structure of the meal plans. Three administrators plus six students comprise the committee. Students are appointed by the Inter-House Council and Student Government. They meet 2-3 times per quarter.
