Annual Allocations Committee
Annual Allocations disburses more than $400,000 from the Student Activities Fee to RSOs for the following academic year. The Committee is comprised of eight voting student members (four Student Government elected officials and four students who are not elected officials in Student Government), Chaired by the Chair of SGFC, and advised by the Vice President for Administration for Student Government and the Associate Director Financial Advising in ORCSA. Traditionally, more than 200 RSOs apply for funding for their upcoming year’s events and initiatives in Spring quarter.
The Committee will convene at the beginning of Spring Quarter to review past practices and prepare for the allocation procedure in the spring. Once Annual Allocations formally begins, the Committee enters into two weeks of heavy deliberation between 5th-6th week. All selected applicants must commit to attending all deliberation sessions as stipulated in the schedule below:
