Chair of the Constitutional Review Committee and Parliamentarian
We are seeking a Chair for the Constitutional Review Committee for the 2016-2017 academic year. The Chair will also serve as the SG Parliamentarian for the 2016-2017 academic year. Per the SG Assembly By-Laws, the Parliamentarian helps preside over Student Government meetings and advises the Executive Committee, Assembly, and College and Graduate Councils on the Constitution and by-laws.
Starting this summer, the Constitutional Review Committee will be reviewing our SG Constitution and all by-laws. The Chair of the Committee will produce a report on inconsistencies or areas for improvement within our governing documents. Applicants for Chair of the Constitutional Review Committee should have experience with governing documents, expert knowledge of Robert's Rules of Order, and excellent written and oral communication skills. Expected workload will be 5-10 hours a week.
