Chair of the Programming Coordinating Council (PCC)
We are seeking a Chair for the Programming Coordinating Council (PCC) for the 2016-2017 academic year. PCC is the primary source of funding for its six member organizations: the Council on University Programming (CoUP), Doc Films, Fire Escape Films, the Major Activities Board, University Theater, and WHPK. For the 2016-2017 academic year, PCC's budget will be $514,400.
Over the upcoming year, we're excited to strengthen the relationship between SG and PCC. The PCC Chair will provide administrative support for PCC organizations, particularly around financial issues. Additionally, the Chair will work with the Director of Finance in order to create and standardize reporting measures for the PCC budget and member organizations. Applicants for PCC Chair should have experience in an RSO (though not necessarily in a PCC group), an interest in budgets, and a highly collaborative and detail-oriented management style. Applicants should also should have an interest in working with and improving the large-scale events and programs put on by PCC. Expected workload should be 5-10 hours a week.
